Job Summary:
Responsible for receiving hospital items and supplies and ensure complete documentation, recording, acquisition, checking and assigning an identification number and attaching necessary tags and labels.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Preparation of Purchase Requisition and receiving/filing MMD reports
- Monitors expiration date of Medical supplies and Medicines, stocks under MMD
- Maintain a computerized Hospital property control and inventory program by description, location and value;
- Maintains and encodes data on computer; record receipt of new property and mark for identification;
- Releasing items and company property to authorized units and individuals and ensure proper documentation
- Conduct weekly / Monthly and Periodic physical inventories; process changes, transfers and deletions; reconcile disparities in records and inventory; prepare reports; maintain computerized history file.
- Inspect company property and equipment to determine condition and value of property and equipment; recommend proper disposition of property. Identify and store reusable surplus property; maintain surplus property storage locations in an orderly manner.
- Release and proper tracking of items to properly designated and identified recipients, according to policies and procedures
- Answer questions and provide information regarding the receipt, use, transmittal, care, and disposal of property and apply pertinent statutes, ordinances, rules, and regulations; instruct others in the use of barcodes and scanners.
- Performs other related duties that may be assigned from time to time.
Qualifications:
- Graduate of any Bachelor’s Degree or 4 year course graduate; Business Studies/Administration/Management, Finance or equivalent
- Specialized in Inventory, Monitoring of Supplies, Stocks, Equipment’s, Material & Warehouse Management or equivalent.
- Must have 1 to 2 years of working experience in the related field is required for this position
- Hospital setting property custodian and inventory background is an advantage.
- With strong experience in administration and records keeping
- Must be proficient in Microsoft applications
- Experience in handling any Accounting system
- Detailed oriented, organized and multi-tasking skills.
- Must be willing to work in Arca South, Taguig City
