JOB SUMMARY
The C & C Officer shares the responsibility in directing and controlling all aspects of the company’s billing and collection.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Randomly checks accuracy of billings to clients and resets wrong postings.
- Randomly checks accuracy of payments posted under clients’ accounts.
- Assists AMAs in reviewing and reconciling receivables from accounts.
- Ensures timely submission of reports to Accounting Department including but not limited to daily collection report and weekly AR setup.
- Responsible for efficient filing and housekeeping of records.
- Oversees the daily tasks assigned to the staff and monitors performance and outputs.
- Attends to queries from clients, clinics and other departments.
- Mentors, trains, coaches, and develops department employees and provides guidance to help increase performance.
- Checks messenger/collectors’ receipts for daily reimbursement.
- Assist in Accounting-related reportorial requirements including, but not limited to GL, account analysis/reconciliations and journal entry preparation.
- Prepares timely reports to Accounting Department including but not limited to monthly AR Aging, collection adjustments, returned billings, etc.
- Participate in monthly closing processes, including account reconciliations & computation of allowance for bad debts.
- Prepare weekly & monthly collection report & forecast for Treasury.
- Process and requests for the payment of commission and rebates for clients.
- Carries out instructions and directives of C&C Manager, as may be assigned from time to time.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s/College degree in Accountancy, preferably CPA.
- Minimum of three (3) years related work experience.
- Strong mathematical, analytical and MS applications skills.
- Strong directives skills.
- Highly-organized and has a strong sense of ownership.
- Must have strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Results-oriented and can work well under pressure.
- Advance experience in finance-related programs.
- Knowledgeable in organizational policies, procedures and system.
